The Blockboard offered comes in multiple dimensions and workmanship finishes to cater to various needs. It is available in lengths of 8FT, 7FT, and 6FT and width is 4ft and 3ft. Thickness is 19mm, providing flexibility for different applications.
The composition of blockboard is very different from other engineered woods such. It is made from solid blocks of wood at its core, sandwiched between layers of wood veneer (usually single layer of ply) on both its front and back faces. The difference in the way blockboard is made, gives it interesting characteristics and functionality. Selected species of matured timber is used for block board battens making it more durable.
The product boasts a good workmanship finish, ensuring a high level of quality. It successfully passes tests for general flatness, including warping, cupping, and twist, demonstrating its stability and reliability. Moreover, its local planeness is excellent, ensuring a smooth and even surface.
